About the event

The National High School Climate Forum's Fall speaker event for the 2021-2022 school year, Storm Surge: Attributing Natural Disasters to Climate Change, will feature Mr. Craig McLean, Acting Chief Scientist of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), and Dr. Greg Holland, Emeritus Director of the Capacity Center for Climate and Weather Extremes (C3WE), and contributing author of the United Nation's IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report. The event will explore the real science behind attributing natural disasters to climate change, consisting of brief presentations by our speakers followed by Q&A.
